This shoot almost didn't happen. We had terrible weather on the Peninsula the morning of the planned shoot and it wasn't until we spoke to Emma's mum (who lives closer to the location) that we decided to pack the gear and head out anyway.
Not going would have been a mistake. The rain stopped, clouds parted and there were no crowds as the air was still cool. Perfect shooting conditions.
After a quick costume change, Emma was ready to go and had no problems balancing, jumping (unbelievably high) and posing up on the old pier. With the sun dropping rapidly and the temperature with it we raced through a series of shots both into the light and away from it to capture an amazing set of images.
Please enjoy this sample of my favorites with different styles from the shoot.
Thanks to Emma for being an amazing young dancer who takes direction extremely well, Emma's mum for letting us shoot and share these images and my wife as always for assisting during shoots.
Feel free to comment and share :) and if you would like a shoot just contact me for more information.
